I hail from the small town of Benoni. The same prestigious little place that the gorgeous blonde bombshell’s Charlize Theron and Charlene Woodstock originate from. Of course, that is not all that Benoni is known for.
Other than Benoni’s landmark mine dumps and scenic lake-view vista’s, the small little town is renowned for people who religiously choose to continuously dress like they are stuck in an episode of MacGuyver.
Their most notable trademark? The “Benoni Pony” – also known as a ‘mullet’.

Six months. That is how long I have neglected my blog. This was not meant to be the plan for 2012. 2012 was supposed to be the year of the blog for me. Today, I officially submitted my Masters thesis.
I am finally done.
I almost shed a tear before leaving the local PostNet. It felt like I was leaving behind a part of myself. I was suitably, and still am, a bit emotional about it.
